God's Response to Global Warming

Recently while reading my Bible I struck upon some verses that wowed me in its straight to the point explanation of an intellectual debate that has been boiling between Christians, Atheists, and the various in-betweeners for the past forty plus years. Many times when one speaks to a non-believer or one who claims to believe in the Words of God but holds more faith in humanist theories about a difficult, controversial topic, the non-believer will respond either that the Bible does not mention the issue or that the book is outdated on the specific topic. When one reads the Bible, not scanning or perusing but actually read the Word in detail, meaning not just the popular and important narrations of David and Goliath or Jesus Christ's crucifixion, one will discover the answers to many of the wonders of life and the world. The Bible simply explains many global and universal wonders that have taken mankind thousands of years to realize. Here in this conversation I am just going to discuss with you one of them.
The controversial issue is Global Warming. With the frequent days of alarmingly cold weather and many record breaking snowfalls the global warming debate - is it real is it fake, is it a government, environmentalist research firms conspiracy to rake more money from their faithful followers, or cold hard evidence produced from years of scientific research? When reading and participating in online and personal discussions one quickly understands that the side believing in the reality of global warming insist that their view is reputable, incapable of being denied, and those who don't buy the story are either uneducated, just plain ignorant, or both.
While reading the Bible in attempt to grow closer to God and gain a better understanding of Him, I stumped upon these words that really amazed me:
“As long as the earth endures,
seedtime and harvest,
cold and heat,
summer and winter,
day and night
       will never cease.”
Genesis 8:22

God made this promise after He just flooded the world because the humans living in it were so sinful and unrepentant of their ways. God felt so grieved and filled with pain with what He was seeing that He decided to end mankind except for Noah, his family, and representatives of every kind of bird and animal alive on earth (Genesis 7:1-4). Every living thing on the face of the earth was demolished, deceased except for the preserved living creatures as well as Noah and his family whom were kept safe on his ark (Genesis 7:23).  God  later decided to grant mankind a little mercy. Even though men and women are inclined to do evil He made a promise that He will not destroy ALL living creatures. Afterwards He said that seedtime, harvest, cold, heat, summer, winter, day, and night will never cease. Meaning that despite what global warming theorists insists there will always be seedtime meaning spring, harvest meaning fall, summer, and winter. God did not state that He favored one season over the other or that He will during one long duration of time focus on one season then allow the earth to be destroyed by another. There is no mentioning of the summertime taking over the winter during the end days or whenever in the future. I am sure that if God intended for there to be a global warming on earth He would have mentioned it here in Genesis or not state what He said in Genesis 8:22. God is not a liar.
As we look into the present and experience the bitter cold God has laid upon much of America and perhaps the Western Hemisphere, we are reminded that mankind is not in control of the weather pattern on earth, God is. And while the global warming alarmists continue to collect their data on the earth's temperature and weather patterns God will continue to rotate fall, winter, spring, and summer as He always had since the days of Noah. I am sure that there are many scientists who agree with mankind behind a non-factor on the daily weather pattern but unfortunately within a Liberal dominated media their voices and opinions will be muffled while being ignored. But God will continue to make fools of such futuristic weather predictors as He continues to do with the weather what He always wanted just as He already said He would regardless of what the weather was back in 1800 and whatever, regardless of Hurricane Katrina, regardless of what whomever from whatever university with whatever degree predicts. But alas mankind is stubborn and many will continue to brew their guesses together, act confident in what they are pretending to know, then afterwards call it science. I am not against science. I simply believe that God made the work a little bit easier for us by already mentioning the facts in His Word.

One Man's Dream a King's Reality

Monday January 20, 2014 marks Martin Luther King day. A day of celebration of a man who dreamed that black and white people living in America will be able to look at each other and breathe together within the same room knowing that each was equally loved and respected by both God and mankind. Martin Luther King Jr demanded that black men and women be regarded and treated equally in America a country that at one time deemed black individuals as three fifths of a man. What set him apart from many other individuals living in the United States who risked their lives during their insistence to receive rights and freedom of speech is that he sought Black Americans' freedom in a peaceful matter. And Mr King cried out not just for Black American's freedom but for the rights and dignity of any other minority living in this country.
Martin Luther King Jr was assassinated at 6:01 pm April 4, 1968. I was not alive at that time and though I knew about Mr. King , that he was murdered for his outspokenness in calling for the respect Black Americans and their rights, I did not get to know too much details about his life until I grew into my twenties and moved to the heart of the American South where Dr. King is spoken of much more than the small northern American town where I grew up. I always respected Martin Luther King Jr and believed in the value and freedom of all mankind but as I grew more into perusing the Bible and drifted away from validating every information simply because it came from a person of a certain color, ethnic background, neighborhood, or political party I began using the Word of God as my backbone source of information not man.
I respect Dr King and believe that his fight for the rights and freedom of all men was great but disagree with the great amount of attention and praise he has received from the world, especially men of color. Yes he was a great man but since he passed away, his children have been known to bicker and fight each other in front of public media, his oldest son, Martin Luther King III and late wife, Coretta Scott King gave public approval of homosexuality, black people living in America though free are still highly living in poverty. Yes, some black individuals and family have risen up in class some making it to Congress and one even becoming president but as a whole the mass majority of black individuals are still living in poverty. Black on black crime is still high. Many black children still wake up each day with absent fathers. Some don't even know who their biological daddy. Even some of the famous black people who make it to celebrity status and give black youngsters someone to look up to at times end up living a messed up life in front of the cameras dancing with drugs, infidelity, narcissism, witchcraft, and just plain questionable lifestyles (ex. Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Eazy E, OJ Simpson, etc...).
Black Americans used to be well known for gathering in church on Sundays, having praying moms and grandmothers, as well as a father who was strict as well as a solid family backbone. Now many of those father figures are gone, replaced by convicts, sugar daddies, and players. Living in my twenties I encountered many conversations with young black adults who believed hitting this or that woman or women was a higher priority than finding that one good woman to marry, build a family, and raise children with.
There is nothing wrong with honoring Dr King. What he did and the life he lead was heroic but there is a King who is even better, greater then the man. The King of kings, Jesus Christ, came down to earth to die for each and every single one of us on the cross. He gave His life and respect from the world up for our sakes so that we can have an opportunity to redeem ourselves and spend eternity with Him. I am not an expert on Dr King but him being a pastor, I feel pretty sure that he would rather us adore the King, Jesus than adore him. Dr King can't save us. Jesus can.
15 which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen. I Timothy 6:15-16.

16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
king of kings and lord of lords. Revelations 19:16

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. John 3:16-18

Jesus is not only the King, but the King of kings and oh if Black Americans, White Americans, poor Americans, Americans of other cultures, Americans in general, if they would only grasp this fact and live it they would receive much more joy and satisfaction that would last far beyond January 20, 2014. Their joy would be eternal. But now while media America, the politically correct watchdog groups begin incorporating Dr Kings dream with feminism, homosexual rights, and so on the dream speech is beginning to turn into a repeated murmur as it begins to lose its moral effect. It is time for Christians living in America to grab something that is much more than just a dream. It is time for Christians, all people in America to grab their Bibles and begin reading about Jesus. Jesus is the reality that will save your life.

What Does the Christian Say to the Fox?

31 At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him, “Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill you.”
32 He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’ Luke 13:31-32
The Pharisees tried to discourage Jesus from what He was doing through fear. They told Jesus that Herod wanted to kill Him. They told Jesus, Jesus of all people to basically run. King Herod back during those times of the Roman empire was a powerful man of authority. He was a terrible enemy to devout Jesus followers who were tortured and taunted by both Romans and Jews alike. But Jesus responded fearlessly to the Pharisees to go tell that fox, King Herod, that He was on a mission. Jesus had things to do. Jesus did not have time to worry about what this supposed Herod, a man famous for killing newborn babies in Betheleham, would do to Him.  King Herod killed those babies out of fear. He was then known as the king of the Jews. King Herod knew that Jesus was coming to take over his throne. Jesus not only took from Herod the title King of the Jews. He drove out demons, healed people, took beatings, died on the Cross for mankind's sins, then rose again on the third day. Jesus did exactly what He, the prophets, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and others said He was going to do.

15 This is what the Lord says:
“A voice is heard in Ramah,
    mourning and great weeping,
Rachel weeping for her children
    and refusing to be comforted,
because they are no more.” Jeremiah 31:15

BUT

16 This is what the Lord says:
“Restrain your voice from weeping
    and your eyes from tears,
for your work will be rewarded,”
declares the Lord.
“They will return from the land of the enemy.
17 So there is hope for your descendants,”
declares the Lord.
“Your children will return to their own land. Jeremiah 31:16-17

Therefore stop weeping, desist the temptation to grow frustrated and weary. As long as you are traveling on life's journey with Him God has got your back.

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16.

And go tell that fox to get lost. Like Jesus, you are on a mission. You got things to do. You don't have time to worry and fear before the King Herods in your life. God is going to take care of them and He will do a much mightier job then you can even wish you could do. And remember in the end He wins, meaning we win. So our journey gets even better.

38 There was a written notice above him, which read: this is the king of the jews. Luke 23:38
