Well, looks like a possible "here we go again" situation coming, guess where? Right out of New York. There is a report of a rising meningitis scare taking place in the Big Apple. The disease is occurring among men having sex with men. Right now 22 New Yorkers have become sick while 7 killed. Does this story sound familiar to anybody? Can we go back to the late seventies to mid-eighties? Unfortunately, one has to dig into the internet, at least now, in order to find the story. I guess the story is not BIG NEWS to the typical media personnel, at least possibly not yet. But the story makes me wonder. While talking to people both online and in person who are pro-gay movement I often receive a response of one "discriminating", being a "bigot", or "intolerant" if one utters a negative opinion of the homosexual behavior or simply disbelieves in the theory of people being "born that way". I remember as a child the big headlines of AIDS on the weekly news magazines such as Time and Newsweek, people took it seriously then. Now with the inventions of various concoctions of cures, and the average HIV virus carriers living longer many have shunned the once feared consequences motivating them to now openly defend homosexuality, inspiring a myriad of "you can't deny who you love" slogans. But what news stations like ABC, NBC, and CBS is not openly telling the world is that the medical world is now in a neck-to-neck race in attempts to maintain a cure for this very complicated virus. The truth is that many of these modern cures can possibly be deemed useless within the next couple of years while the rate of HIV infection amongst gay and bisexual men currently continues to rise.
So when will it be deemed "cool" or at least responsible for one to get up in front of the media and announce again that AIDS is destroying the lives of men who have sex with men? This is an issue that the media may have to face in the near future. At that time ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, Fox, and pals will be forced to decide whether public relations, the current status quo, or people's lives are the top priority. The words "love" and "hate" are often toted around in order to describe and defend homosexual behavior and the "gay society". Can someone possibly "love" another person if he decides not to warn the person of a personal habit or addiction that may kill him or even the person he loves? Would one be hating his brother if he was to was to caution him regarding a drinking problem or a habit of drinking while driving? Does my being concerned about a friend who sleeps with a different woman every week make me a "bigot"? Some of these comments I hear everyday from the media as well as homosexual supporters confuse me. I mean are we really trying to show support for a population of people or are we simply mindlessly obeying whatever pop culture tells us to do? Reality is coming. In fact reality may already be here; perhaps while we are blinded everyday by whatever the world communicates to us. Like the fires that destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, while the folks partied, going about their daily business not knowing what was about to happen to them. One never knows what may happen. We can't one hundred percent predict what may happen tomorrow. It may be worse than what occurred during the eighties. We have time now, at least some of us, to warn others, to be a light to those who are lost. We can show true "love" by alerting others about the potential danger awaiting them, then direct them to safer path, through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Rape? Change in US Military
US women have been accepted into the US military. President Obama has encouraged and supported the more readily acceptance of women as well as granting females equal rankings within the military. The steps have been sped up with the demand that women be accepted into even the highly intensive, physically demanding special operations forces. Now the media is reporting to us news of incidences of rape and sexual harassment rising within the military. They say that women are being treated unfairly. Reporters state something needs to be done now. Wasn't the media and Obama previously warned about the likelihood of such incidences occurring? Didn't military leaders request patience and more research to be conducted before hurriedly implementing such major changes? Would Obama heed? Of course not. The Liberal Media whom seems to be the president's boss insisted that women and men are the same so they must be allowed to join such high ranks just like men. Just a few months later news reports of rapes and sexual harassment are being reported. By who, Obama's pals, the media. Now on top of the gay marriage fiasco, the country's massive debt, the struggling economy, Afghanistan, Libya, Mali, Hurricane This and Hurricane That, snowstorms, much devastation resulting from the storms, the global warming debate, Obama will soon have to confront the battle of the sexes within the military. A problem Obama could have avoided but insisted on creating because of his inability to say "no" to Liberal Media. Now Liberal Media has another story to beat to death and Obama's name will be thrown out there in the public right next to it. I am not against equal rights for women. I respect females and know they must be treated fairly. But I am also a fan of common sense. Good sense states that when male and female are tightly placed together within intense confines for a long duration, sex will likely result sooner or later. We are males and females aren't we? Don't we remember as school kids occasionally looking across rows of seats in order to have a few glances at the pretty little redhead sitting in front of the class? Because we are now talking about young or middle aged adults do we expect that our sexual attraction will simply vamoose? We are talking about men and women. With the military we are involving bigger, stronger, more emotionally charged men and women, especially men. The emotionally charged masculinity will not changed simply because one is in a special ops group. Being a member of a special operations force does not make your sex drive disappear, does not change one's sex hormones.
Much of the sexual harassment occurring within the military takes place within the same sex. Imagine what will happen when more homosexual - driven males and females begin joining the rank. As such behavior becomes more accepted one would only expect that much more same sex intercourse will occur, many of them forced, unwanted. The military, after going through the recent scandals involving General John Allen and General David Petraeus, will again place it's men and leaders into the throes of more potential scandals, greater embarrassment, and humility in front of a relentless national media with no sense of grace. Here is a media shaped like a snake who seems to have snagged our President along with many of our leaders into a despairing course filled with further shame and endless questions. Questions involving unwise decisions made in order to please the very same people who were in cohorts with the devil from the beginning.

The Sequestrian OOOoooohhh
Here we go with the big cuts. Here comes our hope and change? Obama just announced the beginning of the broad cuts in government spending. We don't know in detail yet what the specific cuts are going to be, but there will be some cuts. The White House representatives state that these cuts are going to hurt. The republicans say that Obama and his crew are exaggerating the scenario in order to scare us. Who do you believe?
The lesson in this is that possibly neither group knows how to handle the national budget. The budget has already been careening towards disaster since the past several presidential administrations. Possibly our national budget has been due to fail from the beginning. During the Old Testament, after God led Israel out of being held captives in Egypt, they did not have a budget deficit. King David did not face a budget crisis. King Solomon was never forced to make serious budget cuts or layoff any of his staff. Maybe there is a lesson here to learn. Maybe our country and our leaders is making this skill about balancing the budget too complicated. Maybe some of us are over educated making us stubborn, unwilling to learn, insisting we know it all, incapable of being humbled from our mistakes.
I laugh when I read and hear diehard Liberal and Obama fans faithfully blame the entire situation on Bush and/or Republicans as if their party is incapable of making any mistakes. When one looks hard at this country and views the people within, the millions of families on welfare, the single moms, the individuals whom the government consistently send our money to who don't want to work, the many scholarships paid that receive no monetary returns, the billions of dollars spent on research that provide worthless data, the upkeep of data, old buildings, memorials, tools, memories, that maybe we as a nation should simply let go. The reality is that just as a family grows and increase in size and age, they need to shed off some of that bulge building in their closets. America has its own bulge, size 100 fold that we need to let go. There are countries across the world who the government amazingly send billions of dollars to, who could care less about us as a nation, yet millions of people here starve everyday and go homeless. Many of the US leaders, many not all, are in a different world. They don't truly understand poverty. They don't know of managing a real budget where one is not able to magically inflate what one didn't have in the first place. If my friend to the left runs out of money, he can't vote for an extra million dollars to be dumped into his bank account. But I often wonder how long will it last? How long til our country hits that point where it can no longer vote to expand that imaginary budget line?
